Michael Adams
BIOGRAPHY
Mike brings more than 30 years of experience in front line litigation in both state and federal courts.
He concentrates his practice on real and personal property ad valorem taxation and valuation. Mike played a key role in obtaining a prompt dismissal of improperly filed tax cases filed against the appraisal district that involved over 300 plaintiffs. He also has extensive experience handling life insurance claims and administration, including litigation, reinsurance matters, banking, and commercial loan litigation, including UCC issues, landlord tenant disputes, and real property foreclosure.
Mike represents a variety of clients including insurance companies, banks, appraisal districts, and various other businesses, including several class actions. He also represents individual plaintiffs in cases involving life insurance disputes and wrongful denials of claims.
An experienced litigator, Mike is AV® Rated™ by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been involved in all aspects of pre-trial and trial practice, having first-chaired insurance, commercial, and ad valorem tax cases. He also has extensive appellate experience, including state court and federal court, including cases involving UCC, insurance, and ad valorem tax valuation disputes.
